Can you fly a drone in Howard County parks?
Howard County Parks
You need the county’s permission before flying a drone in a Howard County-owned park. Apply with the Photo & Drone Permit from Recreation & Parks. Drones can’t be flown over people. Recreational pilots must show proof of passing TRUST when asked. Commercial pilots must provide drone insurance, a flight plan with a map, FAA registration and a Part 107 certificate when asked. Parts of the county sit under BWI and D.C.-area airspace limits, so check B4UFLY for the spot and date.
