Can you fly a drone at Hart-Miller Island?
Hart-Miller Island State Park
Hart-Miller Island is reachable only by private boat, and its South Cell is open May 1 to September 30. Contact the park manager before you fly. The park asks for at least one week’s notice when possible. Park policy doesn’t close any specific areas, but you’re responsible for checking FAA airspace restrictions yourself. Don’t fly over crowded areas or during events. The park counts any business, non-profit, work or paid flight, including selling the footage, as commercial use.
