Can you fly a drone at the Prince George’s RC Club field?

CLUB FIELDVERIFIED IN WRITING

Prince George’s RC Club field (Upper Marlboro)

The Prince George’s Radio Control Club (PGRC) allows multirotor drones, with restrictions, at its field on Prince George’s parks property at 17230 Swanson Road in Upper Marlboro. Pilots must be AMA members and have passed TRUST. Fly drones from the runway only when no fixed-wing pilots are flying, or at the south end of the field along the fence line. No FPV. The field is outside the D.C. no-drone zone (FRZ) but inside the D.C. Special Flight Rules Area, with a 400-foot ceiling. Visiting AMA pilots get two free visits, then must join the club. Field hours are dawn to dusk. Field details: asphalt runway about 400 by 40 feet with roughly 13 acres of flying space and 80-foot trees 500 to 700 feet past each end. Field details from Maryland Model Aviation, used with permission.
